Train no-code machine learning models to predict, forecast, cluster, and detect anomalies.

This hands-on course teaches you to build and evaluate working machine learning models with no-code tools, without traditional programming. You will prepare business data, train and compare classification and regression models, create forecasts, cluster records, detect anomalies, diagnose overfitting, tune decision thresholds, and train an image classifier. The focus is on models that perform on real data, not terminology.

Building Machine Learning Models for Predictions and Patterns

Audience

  • Data and business analysts
  • Operations and finance analysts
  • Sales and marketing analysts
  • Analytics professionals
  • Technical staff starting hands-on ML work

Objectives

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Prepare business data and split it into training, validation, and test sets
  • Train and compare classification models using precision, recall, and F1 scores
  • Build regression models and time-based forecasts that predict numerical values
  • Cluster records into segments, then detect and investigate anomalies
  • Diagnose overfitting and underfitting and adjust model decision thresholds
  • Train and test an image classifier using a browser-based ML tool

Choose a defined business problem and build a working predictive solution using an appropriate classification, regression, forecasting, clustering, or anomaly-detection approach. Submit the model workflow, performance evidence, interpretation of the results, and a concise model summary explaining how the prediction should be used in the business process. The capstone is assessed against a skills-based rubric and must be successfully completed to earn the CERT4TECH Certificate in AI Predictions and Pattern Finding.
