The Skills-First Cybersecurity Bootcamp is a comprehensive, career-focused training program designed for people starting from scratch. Whether you have no IT background at all or you're looking to pivot into cybersecurity from another field, this program gives you the knowledge, hands-on practice, and professional specialization needed to compete for entry-level cybersecurity roles.

In the first phase, you work through five foundational courses that cover everything from computer systems and networking to security operations and system hardening. These courses give you a complete, well-rounded foundation that every cybersecurity professional needs, regardless of the specific role they're aiming for.
In the second phase, you choose a specialization that aligns with your career goals — Vulnerability Assessment, Ethical Hacking, Incident Response, or Security Defense Engineering. By the time you graduate, you're not just a generalist with some security knowledge. You're a trained, specialized professional ready to contribute from your first day on the job.

Every student completes the same five foundational courses, in sequence. Each course builds on the previous one, taking you from core IT concepts through professional-level security operations. These courses form the backbone of your cybersecurity knowledge.
After completing the five foundational courses, you'll have a clear sense of the areas of cybersecurity that excite and motivate you most. At that point, you'll select one specialization track to complete your bootcamp journey. Each specialization is a focused, advanced course that deepens your expertise in a specific area of security practice — and defines the professional identity you'll carry into the job market.

Graduates of the Skills-First Cybersecurity Bootcamp will be able to:

No. This bootcamp is specifically designed for people starting from scratch. The first course assumes no prior knowledge of computers, networking, or security. You'll build your skills step by step from the very beginning.
You'll choose your specialization after completing the five foundational courses in Phase 1. This approach gives you firsthand experience across different areas of cybersecurity before committing to a specialization — so your choice is informed by real knowledge, not just initial impressions.
Yes. Each course in the bootcamp is also available as a standalone certification. If you already have a strong foundation in some areas, you may be able to start at a later course. However, if you're new to IT and cybersecurity, we recommend starting with Course 1 and working through the program in sequence.
Graduates are prepared for entry-level cybersecurity roles such as Security Analyst, Jr. SOC Analyst, Jr. Incident Response Technician, Help Desk Technician with a security focus, and similar positions. The specific role you're best positioned for will depend in part on the specialization you choose.
The bootcamp is self-paced, so completion time varies by student. The total learning content spans hundreds of hours of video lessons, applied exercises, and hands-on labs. Most students working consistently can complete the program within several months.
Throughout the bootcamp, you'll complete real labs in simulated environments — not just watch videos and answer quizzes. Labs are integrated directly into the courses so that you practice applying each concept shortly after learning it. This is how the program builds job-ready skills rather than just theoretical knowledge.
Yes. The curriculum is mapped to the NICE (National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education) Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity, which defines the standard skills and competencies for cybersecurity roles in the United States. This ensures the content you're learning is relevant to what employers are actually looking for.
